Welcome to Design at Aura (DAA), where interior design transcends the ordinary to become an exquisite art form. Founded by visionary designer Aurelie Rivkah Tshiama, our mission is revolutionary: to redefine interior design by infusing each space with profound meaning, unparalleled craftsmanship, and timeless elegance. Guided by our core values of creativity, innovation, and inclusivity, we embark on every project with a relentless pursuit of perfection and a commitment to excellence.
At DAA, we pride ourselves on our distinguished achievements and groundbreaking contributions to the design world. From crafting the splendour of the first black-owned jewellery store in Mayfair to spearheading the visionary Congolese Cultural Centre project in London, our studio stands at the forefront of design innovation. With an international masterclass of over 1000 participants, amongst our esteemed alumni, inspired by Aurelie's vision, some have forged their paths in the design world, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
Driven by a passion for cultural heritage and a relentless pursuit of excellence, DAA sets their own standard for interior design. We believe in creating spaces that captivate the senses and transcend the boundaries of conventional design.

In Sojourn, I delve into the delicate dance between the starkness of straight lines and the fluidity of curved edges, weaving a tapestry of emotions and reflections. The deliberate emphasis on straight lines pays homage to the structured, often relentless nature of existence – a nod to the masculine energy and the relentless pursuit of success, akin to the ceaseless hustle of the proverbial rat race.
However, amidst this rigidity, I intentionally infuse elements of softness through subtle curves, delicately interwoven within the intricate details of the piece. These curves may not immediately catch the eye, but their presence is palpable, adding depth and dimension to the overall composition.
For me, this artwork transcends its visual form; it becomes a metaphor for life itself. It speaks to the inherent beauty found in embracing life’s unpredictability and allowing oneself to deviate from the prescribed path. Just as the most captivating journeys are often marked by unexpected detours and winding roads, so too does true fulfillment emerge from embracing the twists and turns of our own life’s narrative.
Sojourn is a testament to the transformative power of embracing life’s detours, finding purpose and beauty in the unconventional, and ultimately, discovering harmony amidst the chaos.
